2020 Rockbridge Career Fest

The Chamber of Commerce Serving Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County will host their inaugural Rockbridge CareerFest on February 18, 2020, at the Virginia Horse Center - Anderson Coliseum. The CareerFest is a multipurpose event that will allow Middle School and High School students to explore career paths and possible internships in the Rockbridge Area.  It will provide fun, hands-on learning about a wide range of careers in manufacturing and skilled trades, healthcare, information technology, agriculture, education, public service (law enforcement, EMS) and more.
In the afternoon, Virginia Career Works will be on site from 4-6 p.m. to meet with adults looking to advance their careers, change careers, or continue their education. On-site job interviews from potential employers are scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Childcare will be provided by the Rockbridge Area YMCA from 4-6 p.m. This event is possible by the support of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, Virginia Career Works, The Virginia Horse Center Foundation, Link House Consultants, and AmeriCare Plus.
