Candidate Forum - Rockbridge County

The Government Relations Committee of Chamber of Commerce serving Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County will host a Candidate Forum at the Hampton Inn Col Alto on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Candidates for the following offices will be participating:

Rockbridge Co. Board of Supervisors - Kerrs Creek District
Rockbridge Co. Board of Supervisors - Walkers Creek District
Rockbridge Co. Clerk of Court
Virginia House of Delegates - 24th District

Forum Format:

A moderator will pose predetermined questions to the candidates. All of the questions selected for the forum have been provided to the candidates in writing.

Audience members will have an opportunity to submit a written question upon arrival to the forum.  These questions will be provided to the moderator.  If time permits, the moderator may pose some audience questions to the candidates. 

All interaction with the candidates during the question-and-answer session will occur via the moderator.  The audience will not be allowed to interact directly with the candidates during the question-and-answer session.

There will be opportunities to interact with the candidates prior to and upon completion of the Q&A session.
