About Us

Rockbridge Area Hospice (RAH) and Connections+ is the only local non-profit hospice and palliative care organization serving Lexington, Buena Vista, Rockbridge County and the surrounding area.

We exist as a part of our community’s healthcare system to provide knowledge, reassurance and support focused on honoring people’s wishes as they approach an unknown part of life.

RAH’s quality of care continues to rank well above both state and national averages. Our mission reads as follows, ''We provide compassionate care and comfort to our neighbors living with serious illness so they and their families can enjoy life for a long as possible.''
