Thagne Schreyer established his own office in 2013. Prior to that, he practiced in a well-respected and award-winning firm in Savannah, Georgia. He managed new construction, addition & renovation, and historic rehabilitation and restoration. From 2009-2013, Thagne was concurrently faculty at SCAD, where he taught architectural design with a focus on design thinking, process, and media. In 2013, with a move to Maryland, his practice temporarily shifted to include construction. Thagne drew from his many years’ experience working in construction and in carpentry and became a licensed contractor in Maryland in order for the firm to take on design-build and small scale development projects. He now lives with his family in Lexington, Virginia, and feels that he’s finally found his home here in Rockbridge County.
